This product is made from a blend of natural sisal fiber and a small amount of cotton fiber. Sisal provides a rough texture, while cotton adds softness. The yarn is woven into a mesh bag body on a knitting machine, with relatively large mesh openings to allow water and air to pass through. The main purpose of the mesh bag is to hold solid soap and provide physical friction during bathing, while also aiding in lathering. In the manufacturing process, the blended yarn is twisted and woven into tubular mesh fabric on a circular knitting machine.
