Description
This product uses natural sisal fiber as its material. The sisal fiber is mechanically combed and spun into roving, then woven into mesh bags by hand or semi-mechanical methods. Sisal fiber is stiff and has large mesh openings, allowing water to pass through quickly. The mesh bags are mainly used to hold solid soap; during bathing, the rough surface of the sisal provides physical friction to help remove dead skin cells. In terms of production process, the sisal yarn is first moistened and softened, then woven into shape on a loom. The bag opening is edged with sisal thread and threaded with a drawstring of the same material. The drawstring is made of multiple strands of twisted sisal thread, strong enough to hang wet soap. This product contains no plastic components throughout the entire process.
